Christmas Baskets..

Well November is here and the word is in.. the first meeting is next week.. the numbers are up.. last year it was 53 families that were in need of Christmas Baskets. This year I suspect more as there have been a few lay offs in the area sadly. However people are very generous
our baskets last year probably averaged $250.00 per family and on top of that gifts were also provided.. so a happy holiday hopefully was well received by the recipents.. Our Secret Santas deliver them.. after they are packed over the three weeks prior. Its all made possible by the schools collecting.. various group donations.. UPS donates all the turkeys.. it is really a fun thing to see come into being.. Thank goodness for all the kind Spirits out there that take the time for fellow strangers to make their holidays a tad brighter.
