Reflections

.. You know life certainly can be interesting.. Recently I got blasted for speaking my mind here.. So many people I know have short memories.. Just yesterday a friend and I were talking and he brought up some old facts from his experience in life that sounded all to familiar.. he had known family secrets that in reality might have changed the course of a few of his family members.. instead for years he lied to protect their families at the time.. because he knew if truths were told those families would have disintegrated and damage to innocent little spirits done forever.. he had been asked a few times by these little spirits if he knew what their Dad did.. he did but kept the lie going.. not wanting to be responsible for the hurt that eventually would come into light.. Its really interesting to me that families can put you in a position wherein you lie to protect them.. and when or if the truth finally reveals itself.. you are seen as " The Bad Guy " in all the meanwhile you did nothing wrong.. Many it seems live a life of denial.. The old saying comes to mind.. " People who live in glass houses shouldn't ever throw stones " "Or Reap what You've sewn " I felt bad after our talk.. allot of the water that was thought to be past the bridge seemed to be stagnant after all still toxic as if only yesterday..
